About the Surrogate

Jerri is a compassionate individual who currently is a non-profit attorney who protects the rights of people with disabilities. Along with support from her husband, Davison, Jerri is eager to be a surrogate for Chris and Kim with no expectation of payment.

Message from Jerri

•I first met Kimberly when we began working together. My first impression of her was one of complete sincerity. She had a genuine tone to her voice that immediately gained my trust. Throughout our working relationship, I am continuously impressed by her work ethic and dedication, but more so by her passion for others. Her heart breaks when she sees someone who needs help and it is this quality that makes her friendship invaluable to me. We began to open up to each other, to laugh and cry together, and the more I saw of her character, the more I was drawn to it.

•Chris, Kimberly’s husband, is equally amazing. He has a naturally optimistic nature and a great sense of humor. He has a big heart and a gentle, caring demeanor. You can see in their interactions that they are very much in love; they have a special tenderness and affection toward one another.

•It was not long after I met Kimberly that I became aware of their desire to have children. Since that time, it seems as though it has been one disappointment after another, slowly shutting the door on their chance to become parents. I began to think how unfair it was that these two people who wanted a child so badly would not have the opportunity, while many people groan about the aches and pains that come with pregnancy and take for granted their blessing. That’s when God made it clear to me that he had a purpose for me in this discouraging situation. I discussed the circumstances with my husband, who is the most understanding and considerate person on earth. He told me that if I felt so strongly about God’s intentions for me then he would support me. He did want me to make sure I fully considered all of the implications. It only took me two days of weighing the pros and the cons to be fully convinced that any negative consequences associated with my decision would never outweigh the gift I could provide for two people I loved very dearly. From that point forward, I have never looked back and I feel so blessed that God may be able to use me in such a loving and amazing way. I am honored to have the opportunity to serve as a surrogate mother. I have no doubt that Chris and Kimberly will be incredible, devoted parents, and any child they raise is bound to make this world a better place.
